Janice L. Mackey 

Law Practice

Janice is an estate planning and business attorney at the law firm of Hutchinson, Cox, Coons, DuPriest, Orr & Sherlock, PC.   Her practice focuses on all facets of estate planning and wealth transfer strategies, including drafting simple and complex wills and trusts, irrevocable trusts, and powers of attorney as well as trust administration and probate.  Janice also has extensive experience handling business start-ups, business transactions, and business succession planning.  Her experience includes counseling clients on the appropriate choice of business entity, preparing organizational documents, reviewing, negotiating and drafting commercial leases and business acquisition agreements.  The combination of Janice's estate planning and business experience allows her to effectively structure estate plans that accomplish her clients' goals for transferring their assets to the next generation while at the same time minimizing potential income and estate taxes.

Background and Interests

Janice is avid horseperson, loves hiking, backpacking and camping.  She and her husband live with their teenage daughter on 30 acres in the "boonies."
