Creditors’ Rights Associate Attorney

Hutchinson Cox is seeking a highly motivated Associate with 2-5 years of experience to join our Creditors’ Rights practice. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney who has experience in a litigation environment in both state and federal court. Interact with sophisticated business and financial institution clients as well as work with a collegial team that values professional development and long-term growth.

What You’ll Do

  • Represent creditors in a variety of collection and enforcement matters, including business, commercial, and consumer claims

  • Draft and file pleadings, motions, and other litigation documents in state and federal courts

  • Manage cases from initial demand through judgment and post-judgment enforcement

  • Appear at hearings and collaborate with colleagues to deliver efficient and practical solutions for client

Qualifications

  • J.D. from an accredited law school and membership in the Oregon State Bar (or ability to waive in)

  • 2–5 years of relevant experience in a law firm or in-house setting

  • Strong drafting, analytical, and communication skills

  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple matters efficiently and independently
